If you haven't already played The Hidden, this weekend is the perfect time to take the game for a spin. This game has become an instant classic among our community's regulars with it's unique "one against all" game play, team based strategy and spooky aesthetics. The Hidden is a free Source mod that's available to anyone who has any existing Source engine game.
In The Hidden, One player becomes Subject 617, a nearly invisible killer, who has to try and kill a squad of 8 interceptors (or I.R.I.S.) who are hot on his trail. The Hidden has the ability to pounce, wall grab, pin corpses and instantly kill with an extended backstab style attack, along with a normal primary attack. The I.R.I.S. have an assortment of guns and tools (that are fully customizable at the start of the round), ranging from F2000 assault rifles, shotguns, pistols, motion sensors, night vision goggles and laser sights.
